What is difference between function & non-functional test cases??

Functional test cases:-Functional test case mainly covers the functionality of the application as per the specifid requirements i.e from clients point of view.Tester will write the TC's by keeping in mind the specified required functionality.Non Functional Test case:--non -functional TC's mainly refers to the TC's which are written for Stress testing,Performance testing,Load Testing etc .
