Friend , u may call it as a coincidence or matter of time ..but we are on the same path....me too working in Mktg domain from 10  months trying to enter data warehousing....according to my research i found that only experienced candidates are preferred as a Datawarehousing consultant....morever i would like to know what are the steps you have taken to make ur carrer in DW....whether ru trying for DW cosnultant or any other MBA related job in DW...untill above things are not clear it is not possible to decide about sailing safely or not....
