1)if any object is not identify what u do other than virtual object wizard?2) If ok button change in next build with other name say 'submit' what u do ?

Hi,

If winrunner is not identify any object we can use virtual object wizard otherwise it is not related to the winrunner supported technologies.

there r two reasons why winrunner fails to identify the object.1)the object is not a standard windows object and2)the browser is not compatible with the winrunner version,GUI map editor will not be able to learn any of the objects displayed in the browsers window.

Hi,

You can go for Device Replay or Wscript shell commands.But it depends on which objects are not recognized by QTP and what is workflow you want to automate.

1. we use virtual obj wizard..only if the object is not the standard obj as mentioned in readme.txt file. you cannot use VOW for everything

2. you may have relearn the submit button properties and update where ever Ok button is used before you start regression. if not winrunner will throw error

You need to map the object to standard class object by using GUIMap configuration.
