I did some research and i did find that sunbeam and IET pune are good C DAC centers for DAC course, but may not be best. IACSD, Pune seems to at par to sunbeam, pune.

What i found that ACTS, Pune is still the best. Also, MET mumbai, VITA mumbai and YCP mumbai also seems very good institute.

I was surprised not to find so many good words for ACTS, bangalore and ACTS, hyderabad. I am not sure if this is just lack of information or they really not so good.

ACTS trivendram suppose to be good for Mainframe course but again, they are not so well in DAC course.

Best Center for Study  in DAC is ACTS,CDAC,Pune

this is headquater of DAC cource. u will get best faculty of DAC here. CDAC  R&D people takes class in DAC. which teach u so depth which  u cann't think urself

well i wd suggest that IACSD is one of the best centres.. and as for the current batch i.e. 2007 feb bath..the seats were filled even before acts and sunbeam. and as for faculty. u get some of the best faculties here too and rest everything is with u. if u learn n understand n study well..

Well, I completed the course from MET 2 years back and I think it is the best institutes amongst others. WE had a master teaching us - K M Hussain. Just check if he is still their and don't look back to get urself enrolled into MET if that is the case. He coveres most of the modules for DAC. Infrastructure wise MET is really good and the studying enviroment and the support that the staff members provied to the students is instrumental.

Well just as an update/advise to all those aspiring to join CDAC do not choose MET  Mumbai/Nasik for your CDAC because there is only one good thing that is the teacher(K.m Hussain), but there is no support a student requires during placements infact there is no good staff to take care of students. Placement officer there is of no use i believe. Just to give you a rough idea, right now placements are going for MET CDAC  course and you all will be surprised to know that only about 24 students of MET have been placed as of today. Around 7-8 companies have come so far and only 4-5 more are scheduled to come. And the package being offered is something to laugh about few companies are even offering 1.6 Lakhs per annum(i doubt how can you survive in Mumbai on 1.6)... So you guys better make a good choice before putting your money and time in any institute. Things do change with time... My recommendation if a high scorer join CDAC-Pune almost 95-100% job surity. :).. else join IACSD or Sunbeam,Pune.. chances of getting placed 85-90% you will get atleast 15-20 chances to show your capabilities to some well known organizations..

If you are non mumbai student then select vita as it has good faculty, excellent BC good pacement and you will not feel lonely or alone as vita staff are too good, They take care of your need wether it is accomodation/health/training/depretion- it also provide yoga and good refereshment time to reduce your stress, you will not miss your family. Vary careing center with excellent lab and faculty

Guys I scored 80 percentile in DAC enterance exam nad since nagpur is near to my home i choosed this as my learning center.Rather saying which institute is best i will share my personal experience.I got admission in CDAN NAGPUR (Soft Polynomials) and literally speaking i thought i was cheated from the first day.No one is serious over here in case of studies.Teacher boo... it`s really a shame to say these guys as teacher.If you are from Engg. background you will feel the same.Most embarssing was we were sharing labs with MSCIT.At las twe applied for change of center to cdac pune and just today (12/10/10) i got change that to after 2 months of DAC. My personal advice if you got less mark in DAC enterance exam try next exam but don`t come to nagpur.Every  one will cheat.And mind you if any person with name starting with  "R" in this institute don`t believe him at all.....I' m surprised to see this institute as cdac center.No faculties nor facilitites full waste of money......this is the condition of DAC batch Aug 2010..

I have studied in ACTS Pune and it is the best..none will even come near to it. It not only has best faculty which actually has practical knowledge but also has nice infrastructure and nice environment. It also boost other activities which are instrumental in getting a job. On top of that I would like to add that student gets placed within 2 days or so and companys has to go other places if they dont get any from here.

I m sunbeam 2013 batch pass out . My view about cdac may surprise others but it is true . Sunbeam is one of best institute in terms of faculty and teaching but when it comes to placements , acts pune and bangalore are best and only considerable for sure placements in recession period . Companies are choosy now and by hook or crook , acts pune gets success to place its students . For placements , VITA mumbai is better option than sunbeam , iacsd . One most important fact - if you are below 60% or diploma holder or even 2011 / 2012 passouts , be ready with your backup plans as it may less your chances in companies shortlisting criteria .

Well, I have to say VITA, Mumbai thats where i completed my C-DAC course from.

They have the Indias best lectures for JAVA, Oracle and Web Tech i must say. Also other teaching as well as non teaching staff help you develop your programming and personal skills, which helps you alot to crack the interviews.

VITA helped me nourish my programming skills from the base and made them strong. This i will never forget.
Apart from the studies part, though the course finishes in short span of time of 6 months. There are various activities that you can enjoy the festivals that are celebrated and also the skill building games.

@parmeshwar uve got really good score.so you can go for banglore, hydrabad, pune- in the main centers.in pune acts pune is so nice.rather than that u can go to mumbai vita,placements are very great there

well there is no guarantee that you will be placed but yes, overall all there is nearly 75%-95% placement in every institute. You will get the Pune-HQ very easily since your ranking is very high. I my self got Pune-HQ and the DAC course in the 1 counselling as my first choice.

Hey everyone this is Mujaheed I got DSSD but I opted for DAC and from IT background. Most of the people wanted to know about the CDAC HYDERABAD. Well I went to the institute today as there was placements going on, met the Seniors and spoke to them. There are very few or no placements for DSSD compared to the other courses. In order of placements 1.DESD 2.DAC 3.DSSD. One of the senior came out frustrated and directly asked me not to join DSSD course. 

Plus you have to have 60% through out the career (10, 10+2, and B.Tech) for maximum interview opportunities.

Another DESD senior said he was not allowed to attend most of the interviews just because his % in 10th was below 60(56%) but his 12th,   B.Tech and CDAC performance was very good. This is the case of DESD Students who had more company placements.

And you should have good knowledge and grasp on "C" language and "Data Structures" irrespective of your field and course you opted for. If you don't have the "C" knowledge don't worry there are several institutes around CDAC building so you can take up coaching there.

CSE/IT guys take up only DAC course untill and unless you want to go for other course by your choice.
Any mistakes correction is greatly welcomed.
This is on CDAC HYDERABAD after a week placements and the placements are still going on.

Hello Prathamesh Kulkarni here, Guys I want to do c-DAC course in DAC specification in Feb 2016 batch, Guys I am 2013 passout from ECE, I do have worked for Wipro for 8 months, I also have done embedded system course and 3 embedded projects for 8 months..But still past one year I am failing to get job in embedded systems..thats why I have decided to do DAC and get placed in any IT company...I have got 84% in 10th, 75% in 12th, 70% in BE, but will my passing year create any problem in getting placed in good company?
