Hi, You can write the following test cases w.r.t an electric bulb.#1. Condition of the bulb, where you check for manufacturing anomalies like, cracks, broken filament, size, shape, holder, wattage etcThese test cases fall under a category called Minimum Acceptence Testing or MAT.#2. If the bulb passes through MAT then you have to check its functionality: Here you check ,if the bulb is functioning according to manufacturers specifications.Like: What is the max Voltage this bulb can take Type of electric current AC or DCmax wattage of the bulbmax life of the filamenttype of holders it can fit on etc#3 To check the life of the bulb u need to put the item on testlike: varying voltage within specified range.Life of filamentWattage of the bulbTo ensure if this bulb lasts for 10 monthsestimate its usage for 10 months and simulate the effect in a lablike under voltage fluctuations, sudden power failure, excess voltage etcconduct several trails to estimate the average and report the results of your finding. This is just an overview of the scenario. However, you can write more detailed test cases on carefully analysing the product specifications for this bulb.I hope this helps.
