I think totally 15 trains from Washinton to New York..

From New york to washington 5 trains..

i think it is 8 trains.

ny->wa     (1hr)   in 24 hrs it is 23 trains.

wa-> ny     (1.5)   in 24hrs  it is  15 trains

  no of trains      23-15=8
