Can one install Loadrunner on a Virtual Machine. I have tried it several times to no avail. Anyone got tips or tricks in archieving this.

you want to install LR ON JVM or JVM ON LR.Clarifly

Yes you can install LR on Virtual machines.  Don't install LR when you are connected to the VM server thru Remote desktop instead make use of VNC or PcAnywhere to connect to the vm machine and install.

I installed LR 9.5 on XP virtual machine but Controller is not working and following error is encountering "LoadRunner Controller cannot create Vusers. Ensure that your load generators are available and that your scripts are valid."

Could you please suggest some workaround.
