I want to know the functionality of this table :MTL_SALES_ORDER.When this table is populated and what is the link with order mgmt and oracle WH mgmd and AR.

mtl_sales_orders is a KFF setup in inventory. the segments enabled typically are (1) Sales order no (2) order source (3) order type. any inventory transactions initiated from OM will have a linkage here. join sales order tables(oe_order_headers_all + oe_order_lines_all) to mtl_material_transaction using the source_line_id = order-lines.line_id, and additionally to mtl-sales-order, if you want to link by sales-order-no also.
