What is productivity/defect density/change management and their differences in testing terms?

Hi,

Productivity means improve Quality.Defect density is no of defects u found in functional testing/no of bugs client found+ no .of bugs u found in Testing.If its "1' good quality.For change management me also don't know

Productivity:

Is to check the quality of the product.To Check is the quality of d product is nearby of the efforts u applied in all the processed throughout the development.

Defect density:

use to measure the no. of defects in process/project/product.

Change Mgt:

more commonly it is known as s/w configuration magt,is an umbrella activity that is applied throughout the s/w development process bcause changes can occur at any time,SCM activities are developed to

1.identify change

2.control change.

3.ensure that changes have been implemented properly.

4.report changes to those who need to know

this is basically done to minimize confusions and bugs in the long run.
