correct answer s 100miles. reason: the courier has travelled along the length of the army twice,i.e forward and backward so it s twice of 50.

The answer is 100 miles.

ltes consider the speed of the army as S1.

thus time taken = 50/S1.

since the courier completes the journey twice,thus his speed is 2*S1.

thus the distance travelled is: 2S1*(50/S1)=100

.
