Test Plan is the "Base for Testing.without Test Plan you can't start Testing.but there are companies ,where they won't follow any systematic format and companies who doesn't give importance for  Testing are you can say it in a way where comapnies are not afford to pay for the Testers they will do Testing without "Test Plan" you may find very very few companies in the city.and first of all you should know the content  of the "Testplan" then you won't get any doubt further..
