Hi ,

   In my opinion V&V means validation and verification. This is called 'V' Modal.   In this modal programmers reviews is validation. Testers responsibility is verification.

V&V concept is representation of V- Model which talks about Verification and Validation. Left side of V-model called verification ( Requirement analysis , Specification,Design,Implementation) Right side of V-model called Validation ( Unit testing , integration testing , system testing,User acceptance testing)

V&V model means verification and validation. This model involves many steps that follows:

CRS(Client requirement specification) ----->Acceptance

SRS(System requirement specification)----->System testing

HLD(High level design) --------------------->Integration Testing

LLD(Low level design) --------------------->Functional Testing

         Coding             -------------------->White box Testing
