Analog Recording: enables to record exact mouse movement, drag mouse and keyboard operation in relation to either the screen or the application window

lowlevel and analog recording are almost same, except if the exact coordinates of the object are important for your test or component then should use this recording mode

Analog : Recording will record with xy co-ordinates of the object buut in qtp this corordinate will not display in the keyword view it will store the co ordinate in seperate file.hence the code will look neat.Low Level :Recording is an intermediate between normal and analog recording.let us take an example click event .while recording in low level of clicking the button it will only take the co ordinate of the button it will not take any other coordinate of the form

Nomal rec mode (by default rec mode is normal)- it captures objects in GUI format and object repository is created with object and its properties stored during recoding time. Mouse movements are not captured in this mode.Analog rec mode - Objects are not captured, thus object repository is not created. only mouse movements are captured and this is stored in a file called track file. Mouse movements relation to screen /application window can be captured.Low level rec mode - Objects are captured in Winobj format and properties stored in obj repository. if u see in object repository u wil notice a different icon for the objects stored here. In this mode u cannot capture overlapping objects. eg - menu drop down etc.

In this Mode QTP is recording mouse pointer movement with respective desktop co-ordinates.

The difference between Analog and low level recording  selection is only appicable after starting Recording in General Recording Mode.

The Main difference is Analog and low level recording where as low level recording the mouse pointer movement on the desktop with respective time.
