It is possible to record both mode in one application

while recording gui obj. we use context sensetive mode and if in our application there is digital signature then we switch to analog by pressing F2.

yes it is possible we can use both the modes for one application.

as we know we use context sensitive recording mode in which the exact coordinates of gui map r not required .but analog is used where the exact coordinates of gui map r required.it depends upon actual mouse movement, keyboard input.

Means application may contain bitmaps or u can say virtual objects.

to record any screen area.

i think context sensitive is useful for functional testing, where as Analog recording is useful for GUI testing.

inaddition to that we can use both recording modes, mainly  it depends on the application what we are testing.

yes we can use both modes for a single application butit depnds only on scenario

when we go to check objects functinality or can say want simply handle the click enter object regardless the mouse position we will use cs mode

but when we check movement of mouse position like in signatures we will go for analog mode

yes, it is possible to use both in an single application.By default winrunner will run in Context sensitive mode, if any mouse movements that is for capturing bitmaps you can use Analog mode by pressing F2. Once you have done with mouse movements u can switch to context sensitive mode by again Pressing 2. When are presing F2, the system will show whther it is in analog mode or context sensitive mode at bottom left hand side. Thanks

yes, it is possible in one application. by default winrunner records in context sensitive mode and it will display at the bottom left cornor to know on what mode ur winrunner will be. and to change ur modes press F2 evertime.

context sensitive mode records all mouse clicks where as analog mode records mouse movements. If in ur applciation has like any digital signatures then u can use anaglog mode and also for to check any images also.

Yes In Winrunner there are two types of Recording Depending on the Requirement We can use both at a time.
1) Context Sensitive Mode: this Allows to give the data through Keyboard/mouse Clickings
2) Analog Mode: This identifies the mouse Movements and Give the Results Like X-/Y-=co-ordinations Xtra...
