 The  query studio is used to create adhoc reports, it is easy to understand the bussiness user.The report studio is mainly used to create proffessional and corporate reports, it is not like query studio it is having mainly 3 explorers those are page explorer,conditional explorer and variable explorer by using these it is working.

Query studio is used for creation of ad hoc queries

 QS Is used by query users.

Report studio is used for creation professional reports

RS is used by report others

We can use page explorer for creating different pages for different type of reports like list report in one page cross tab reports in another page

And also use Conditional explorer and variable explorer different purposes  

In RS we can modify the properties of QI like converting it into fate or like attribute

Adding 2 QI

EX is adding employee F.Name + L.name = employee name

And so on can don in RS but not In QS
