when any bug has come then bug or defect in winrunner is sent via e-mail to the quality assurance manager, who tracks the defect .

We can do it in two ways

 

1. from test results window

 

  Once you got defect you can report it to test director directly from winrunner .In test results window report bug option available. This is option is used to report the defect to TD .

 

2. By coding.

 

  Tdd_add_defect (arugments,);

 

This function is is used to report the defect to TD  from winrunner.
