Start up script is a one which will be loaded by winrunner each time when you start Winrunner.So it will load all the contents of start up script in memory.

Go to c:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\bin\wrun.exe

Cookies are the variables which will store the values till some amount of time while working with websites...

The answr for 1 n 2 are correct.

Cookie : A small text file of information that certain Web sites attach to a user's hard drive while the user is browsing the Web site.It holds the sites visited..shopping carts etc.
