In my veiw V-Model(it is one of the sdlc model) is the best model for qa's becoz in all phases of v-model qa role is must be there and qa has to do review's from starting phase to ending phase. qa is process oriented, his task
is to do verification it involves reviewing the plans and all documents . overall
he prevents the defects

V-model is the best sdlc model for qa's .qa involvement is more in v-model right from starting phase to ending phase.
his task is to review the documents and plans in all phases
qa is a process oriented and he involves in verification .
The best SDLC Model is Spiral Model which really essential in QA.
Since there are many measurable factors which we come across on whole testing life cycle.
The most important and critical part in testing life cycle is Regression Testing for which this SDLC fits absolutely.
and one each regression levels we can measure the absolute resolutions, recoveries, improvements, new innovations , ideas...etc which will really help in coming with good quality software.
This Spiral model will ensure on each regression level how the quality product looks at different stages which is an ultimate goal for any software product / application.
But i too agree with some other models like Waterfall, V-Model...etc If we have a correct requirements and the right skills with the industry standard processes and frame works then definetely we can go for these models.
Hope my expereince and words have some meaning full info.

It is a spiral model which is useful as it involves the risk analysis at all the steps and testing begins at early stage. So bug detection takes place at an early stage and thus produce an good as well as cost effective product.
Can anyone tell me which is the best SDLC model from the QA'S point of view?or which SDLC model is the best and fast?
