A) Total Quality Management (TQM)

He was a manager for General Electric's manufacturing operations and succeeded in getting all divisions of the company to cooperate in a coordinated quality control program.  He was also the person who coined the phrase "total quality control".   He is considered by many to be the true father of Total Quality Management, because it was his book entitled "Total Quality Control" that set the stage for others like Edwards Deming and Joseph Juran.
