What are the test case that we go for automate?What is the process that we go while we are going before Automation ? Actually when a Release/Build is setup in our environment what a tester should do??

If there is regression testing or new release is on the way then it is better to go for Automation. Before you make your test scripts automated you need to have automation tool handy, need previous test cases to follow and environment setup for automation. If there is a new build setup in your environment you need to customize existing test scripts according to the new build and create test scripts in automated tool.
