An INK bug starts jumping 1 meter to each direction north, south, east and west respectively. It marks a point in the new locations. It comes back to its original point after jumping in all directions. It again starts the same process from the newly drawn unique points. Totally how many points did the bug mark?

consider any starting point, bug jums to north makes a pointthen jumps south means comes to the prev point hence no new markwill be made then jumps east a new mark then west comes back to starting point. Hence started point+north point+east point=3 points

  Was this answer useful?  Yes

first it jumps to the north 1m marking one unique point.when it comes to south 1m ,the previous point coincides with the previous.same process for the east and west .so we get 3 points.now the question says that the process starts again with new unique point.so repeating , we get 6 points.it con be shown as ^ ! ! ^-----------> ! ! ! ! ^------------>------------>each arrow shows the points.so the answer is 6 pointsi hope this is right

2-Points

the bug will mark 2 points, first in north, come back to origin, then east and come back to origin(because it is given it marks a point at each new location)

ink bug jumps and marks uniquely in each direction

so first from center and 4 points in each direction

then keeping each point 4 towards each direction uniqely..

so 4+4*4=16+4=20

It's 2.or 4.

First north and then south, which is the  origin.
second east and then west, which is the origin again!

If this process repeats then two more
SO the answer is either 2 or 4.
