We know that Speed = Distance/Time

Let us first calculate the speed of the train

S = 600/2 = 300 meters/sec

So the train is travelling at 300 meters per second

Since Speed = Distance/Time

Speed*Time = Distance

Now if we multiply the speed * time we get actual distance traveled by the train

300 m/sec * 10 seconds = 3000 meters

Answer is 3000 m

speed=distance/time
=600/0.5
=6000/5
=1200
in 10 sec=1200*10
=12000
12km

Its a simple one, take a proportion:
600m --> 0,5s
? m --> 10s
(600*10) / 0,5 = 12 000
1km = 1000m
So the answer should be 12km.

0.5sec = 600m
i.e 1 sec=1200m
10 sec=1200m*10=12000m

Train covers 600m in 0.5 sec
1200m in 1 sec
for 10sec 1200*1=12000 i.e 12km

Train covers 600m in 0.5 sec means, it covers 1200m in 1 sec.
For distance covered in 10 sec , multiply 1200 and 10
1200 * 10 = 12000m
Distance = 12 km in 10 sec
