Why Descriptive Testing
Why do we go for Descriptive when we have option to test the application in record mode? If your answer is "because of dynamic nature" then pls justify it.

Well, if you know descriptive programming then you can automate almost every manual concepts. Dynamic in nature means - that any thing can be a dynamic for an example requirements, design, plan...etc....

Go TO tools menu -> Options. Click the “Web” Tab and then on Advanced button.Check the use Standard windows mouse events and then uncheck the “Onclick” checkbox.

We can submit the external file in the data table using the import , when we change the script at the values, then by using the output value u can get the result in the run-time data table.

SAP application automating using QTP
I am automating the SAP application using QTP.My query is when the SAP application gets upgraded to a new version then what could be the several reasons of Failing of the scripts which were recorded on the Older versions of SAP?For e.g-Objects are missing or properties of the object get changed...So I want other reasons of failing of the script.

Here there is another reason that is Objects are not captured by QTP.some times qtp is not identifying the objectsfor example default mode is "context sensitive mode" it could not able to capture all objects from application this also one of the reason

Object Repository is a placeholder for objects used to identify test elements. The size of Object Repository depends on the number of objects and the number of properties used per object.

If we put all properties in mandatory and assistive list of Normal Identification, Do we still need Smart Identification? Why?

At Runtime if the properties selected in QTP are suffice for identification of the Object then Smart Identification is not needed.regardsNawab
