hi,becuase winrunner having disadvantages- itsupports only IE and Netscape ( not others)- no detail results-it won't supports dot net applications-it is not user friendly- it won't supports performance( but QTP some time we use for performance )

Hi,We can change the shared repository to Action based and Action based to Shared by just going to Tools Menu-->Object Repository--->click on Save As,if you want to save it as shared repository save as .mtr else shared save as .tsr
