Optional file is used to save the setting to run the script on particular env. It is mandatory to close optional file once ur work done . Always keep in mind to open desired optional file before starting any work.Extention=.opt

For capturing the text from the application we will use GetText() eg: Custname = Customername .GetText()Once the above statement executes, the variable Custname will hold the customer name.

As far as I know there is? no input box in SIlk test. But you can pass arguments while you run the script.There is a arguments text area present in the dialog box when you click the Run Testcase butt...

I have a saved file in notepad.Ex1242 11/20/2007 2:03:05 PM kkk 11/20/2007 2:03:05 PM i need to replace these dates with current date on exact locations...Spacing should be the same...the date may be say 5/20/2007 or 11/20/2007..and cause f dis spacing differs....I have input date+time=11/20/2007 2:03:05 PMConsider this as one and replace with current date and time...Can anyone help
