hello,i am facing one problem. I have one main form. In that when i press one button, one window will be pop up with the details of Orders for the particular supplier which was selected in main form. I will check only few orders which i need and when ever i click submit, those checked records should populate in the detailed grid. Popup window is based on control block.One record it is populating. Try moving the pointer in the detailed block to NEXT_RECORD after you populate each record

First go to the first record of that block from which you want to populate data, check whether that is checked or not, if checked then assigned those values into that block where you want to poulate. Loop untill the last record is fetched. May be it can resolve your problem

False. It is not a MUST.Using PL/SQL ref cursors we can maintain data retrieval conditions for master / detail blocks. Also we can handle join conditions at run time too.

That master detail trigger name is on-clear-details. so this trigger does not exist atleast in 6 and above versions. don'y know abt lower versions

If it an oracle error you are trying to trap than I would use ON-ERROR trigger on specific block, use built ins DBMS_ERROR_CODE, DBMS_ERROR_TEXT to trap the error.
