In case of hot backup,table space is put into backup mode.At the time ts related datafile header is frozen
because for taking backup with out any data loss.And after that any data is coming,that one going to redolog file for recovery.

When checkpoint occurs the datafiles and control file header are updated and also dbwr writes dirty buffer to datafiles checkpoint give the signal.

Whenever switch log occur, checkpoint event will occur, and ckpt event will invoke checkpoint process, then ckpt process will generate SCN No. for specific transaction, and that SCN info will be load into control file and SCN No. writes into data file header, and invoke to dbwr.

System tablespace is memory allocated by oracle and will be created at the time of database creation, stores information of data dictionary tables in database, with out system tablespace you can not open the database.
