In 9i we does not have the facility to brign the table that is been dropped, but in 10g we have something like flashback and also in 10g they have added one extra regular expression

My query was running fine till last month. the query will run for each month end. suddenly it is taking more than 20 minutes for running. the data is increased by 1 million. the index are all working fine . Generally for millions of records, BULK COLLECT performs very much faster. If we compare BULK COLLECT and normal CURSOR FOR LOOP then BULK COLLECT can perform almost 4 times faster.
You can create your own program and use DBMS_UTILITY.GET_TIME for comparing the results.
