In ADO.net for Command Object you have 3 methods
1.ExecuteReader - Select statements
2.ExecuteNonQuery - DML statements(Insert,Update and Delete) - Returns Number of rows affected
3.ExecuteScalar - Returns a single value from Aggregate functions like SUM,AVG,COUNT etc

Response.redirect is used like get method method in which we can see all information or address where we will be go .
Server.transfer is used like post method, In this one cannot see full address between pages. So, this is more secured.

No.The Repeater control is used to display a repeated list of items that are bound to the control. The Repeater control may be bound to a database table, an XML file, or another list of items.
