for ex . take an class c ip add . 192.168.10.1/24 for this subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0 !
wildcard mask is just opposite to subnet mask ,

Step 1. Reset / Restart the Modem.
If no connection then

Step 2. Reset Network Connection / Restart the PC
If not connection then

Step 3. Call up the Internet Service Provider and log a complaint.
