We have a situation in building an OLAP cube where there is a M2M relationship between two dimensions. An example could be Faculty and Department. We have actually measures that we are collecting so there is data in the cells (not just a flag=1). In other words, we are not talking about a factless fact. But a Professor (Faculty) can work in many Departments and a Department can have many Faculty (Professors)....

All the users are complaining that their application is hanging. How you will resolve this situation in OLTP?
