This property is for query items only.
Note: The MIME Type property is not used by SAP BW. -

For reports we apply the security in Cognos connection.Go to cc from the actions->setpropertiesicon->permissions->click the check box overide the permission and then set required properties to protect to your reports.Let me know if you have any another solution.Thankssiva

Security can be applied on the reports that will be generated at the Framework Manager level as well by giving rights to user, groups to the package or individual query subjects while publishing the package.

The major difference between query conditions and document filters is that a condition is applied to the query and limits the data retrieved from the database, whereas the filter is applied to the data in the document to hide information and display only the information that you want to appear

Try to limit the data in the iqds to the bare minimum, i.e., only fetch the data that is essentially required in your report via the iqds and check the 'auto-partition and passes' on the cubes...

You can apply drill through for charts only in Cognos 8, but it wont work in Report Net.

How to limit the output in a report for testing?
