Without package we can generate a reports in Cognos by using Query Explorer. Using QE, we can drag a SQL icon from the toolbox, and go to properties, there you can see the datasource tab, then double click, it will open SQL query window, there you can?type?the customized SQL query.

Value Prompt
Hello everyone, I am using Report Studio in Report Net. I have a value prompt that I would like to display a code number and its description. As it is now, it will only display either the code number or the description, not both. Is there anyway I can display both with a space in the middle? Thanks!!

i have 4 countries in my database as USA, UK, INDIA, CHANA. In value prompts prompt control list, i want WESTERN_COUNTRIES, ASIAN_COUNTRIES instead of those country names.
