I am working on the Business Objects 6.5.1 Repository which is in Oracle 9i database. I need your help regarding this. Firstly, What is the maximum possible number of tables in the repository? Secondly, Is it possible to generate a report that describes the user's access rights in details (Like a user has access to Business Objects, BQY, Webintelligence, supervisor or designer . - Thank you

Subqueries can be created in webi as well. Webi is thin client whereas deski is thick client. Webi has less number of graphs / charts wheres as Deski has more options.Rest of the difference are already covered by other members.RegardsRajnish Kaushal

CMC and CCM , both have some common features and they are as you mentioned. But there are some unique things which you can do in one and not other.

CMC

You can set what need to be audit in individual servers.
You can enable auditing in CMC only.
You can set metrics of individual serves in CMC only and not in CCM.
You can see how many sessions are live only in CMC and not in CCM.
You can see how many requests were received , processed , failed only in CMC but not in CCM.
You can create server groups only in CMC but not in CCM.


CCM

You can only cluster and decluster servers using CCM.
You can only configured Auditing Database in CCM and not in CMC. You do configure individual servers in CMC but main work of configuring audit database is done in CCM.


Last but not least. CMC is web based server application. If your web server is down and you want to cring other servers up and running, you can only do in CCM.

To my Understanding Crystal Report is older then Webi and it has more user friendly Connection available compare than webi. Custom formatting, Wide range of Variable, Predefined Filter, Printer and etc.... It usually use for Transitional data.
