What is BOUSER and BOPASS? Why do we use this?

BOUSER gives the username of the currently logged in user. This can be used in @Variable functions in designer to dynamically apply restrictions based on the user logged in.

When an object is deleted, the designer must remove all objects that relate to that object or alter them so that they didn't refer to it.

Hello,
is SAP BO being offered as independent BI solution or is it completely integrated into SAP as a replacement for BW. i was told by a BO developer its not being offered as an independent solution for companies not using SAP software.

Hi, SAP Business Objects is a independent product although it was independent company earlier. we can buy it without SAP R/3, ECC or SAP BW.
