Regarding change from Public Sector to Private Sector

I have done MCA in 2011 and from then I am working in the govt department under the project of National Informatics Center. I am the employee of the third party and serving my services in the govt department we can say deployed as outsource employee. Now I am not satisified with my job want to move to private sector.
I want to know is my experience counts in private sector?
Which profile I should go? Development is not my skill, I can manage the IT projects. For which designation I should search the job?
