A person is prisoned for 60 days . In that 60 days he earns rs.170.If he works he will get payed Rs.7 per day. If he doesn't work Rs.3 he should pay to that prison.Find out how many days he worked.

No.of working days are 35 Days

let the no.of working days=x
then the no.of he was absent =60-x
for every working day he gets Rs.7/- & non working day he loses Rs.3/-

so,

7x-3(60-x)=170
10x=350
x=35
