Updating Target Table

How can we update the target table without using update strategy?

There is a update Override option in the Target properties, you can write a update override query similar to SQL override in lookup's for updateing Targets. This option is enabled only at the mapping level i.e; in the designer you have to write your update override query in designer itself.
