As for my view. Integrity means what ever the data provide by the user should
be correct to database. By using primary key, union key we can avoid the
duplicates but it is does means that we are avoiding the data integrity.
Integrity means it is way to entering data that can't goes out side the business
role.

Example:- if take student table then

ename dob doj age course
sudhir 18-05-89 18-08-2006 17 BCA
Summer 18-05-91 18-08-2006 15 BCA

Here you just have look on the age, and date of birth, date of join. One
person can't join in degree at age 15 years. so here it is goes out of rule. it
is called integrity violation.

Oracle Database enables you to define and enforce each type of data integrity rule defined in the previous section. Most of these rules are easily defined using either integrity constraints or database triggers (stored database procedures automatically invoked on insert, update, or delete operations).

You cannot enforce referential integrity using declarative integrity constraints if child and parent tables are on different nodes of a distributed database. However, you can enforce referential integrity in a distributed database using database triggers.
