The PRIMARY focus of Acceptance Testing is:

d) Testing from a business perspective.

Why?  Well, I would choose b) but it is unreasonable to believe that any system can be tested to ensure it is acceptible to ALL users.  This simply isn't possible.

Acceptance Testing is done to ensure the user friendliness of the application in relation to business requirements and customer requirements.

This can be done by the test engineers at the customer site or by receiving the feedback from the customers.

There are two types in acceptance testing. one is tester acceptance test means sanity testing another one is user acceptance test.
Here sanity test conducts to check stability of initial build which is received from development team to start comprehensive testing.
User acceptance test conducted by client to accept the complete application.
