Why 'S' sub-shell has a spherical structure?

Sub-shells of an atom attained their shape due to the moment of an electron, the S sub-shell is very close to the nucleus than p,d,f sub-shells, due to this attraction electon spins on its own axis, so that it looks like spherical in shape.
