HRM is the function within org. that focuses on recruitment, management & providing direction to people who works in the org... deals with issues related to compensation, hiring, safety, wellness, employee motivation, training etc.

HRM is managing the human resource activities in the organization i.e. Recruitment, Selection, Compensation etc where as HRD is development activities in the organization i.e. Organization Development.
