How to find whether special character is present in flat file's data using Informatica as a ETL tool

There would be a code page present in the properties of the source definition in case of a flat file. Such as LATIN, WESTERN EUROPEAN. We need to choose proper page code to identify the special characters in flat file.

If you want find special symbol in flat file when you are importing from file at that time you can set  delimeter -check the option- other and you can type symbol which is in your flat file.
