How to Check the performance of the website during manual testing?

Slight performance testing can be done manually and we are doing this in our project.

Performance: Nothing but the responce time of the application for user requests.

As per the WWE rules every web site should respond below 20 seconds ( am not sure about the time) , so if at all found any page beyond this limit, we can report the page to development team, they can review the query and re written it. So like this we are performing the performance testing

It is possible testing web site manually up to some extend.

As you can test the page loading time.
When you hit a button or link on the website how much time it takes.
Putting load  will not be possible in this case also entering multiple records and testing the response time also not possible.
