Cost control is a process that is followed in order to reduce the overall cost of production / service which results in not only saving more but also ensures competitive strategy. Cost controls ensures that the actual cost remains well within the pre-planned budgeted costs by keeping track of total amount spent on a certain item or a project against its corresponding pre-planned budget limit.
