There are two methods by which you can migrate impromptu reports to report net.
1) Simply copy SQL script of the report in impromptu and paste it in the report net environment. Then run the report.

I am not perfect with the second method. But, I can give some idea about it. Somebody, please follow up my answer and explain it better.

2) By using "cat2xml" command. In this method you can migrate impromptu report by converting it to package (Impromptu report------->Catalog------->Content Overview------>Package). Then import the converted package to Cognos connection, where you can create reports.

Please before proceeding with my second method somone look at it.

Thanks,
Ravinder.
