DSParams file

Is it like that if we define the values of variables in DSParams file then there is no need to give the values at job level ar Project level ?

& how to configure this file at job level ?so that we need not hardcode the values.....

yes.DSParams file contains all the project level parameters which are set up in Datastage Administrator.If the values are provided/modified in this file,the changes are automatically reflected in the variables defined in Datastage Administrator.If you change the values in Datastage Administrator,those new values are written to this file.
To avoid hardcoding at job level,use $PROJDEF in your jobs.
