answer is 1 hr

Bus covers X distance in 5 steps of 0.5 hr
on return journey met rick in 0.5 hr i.e. 1/5th the total distance, so rick has to travel 1/5th distance more. To cover 4/5th distance it took 4 hrs(2.5+1+0.5). So to cover remaining 1/5th it will now take 1 Hr

let the speed of the bus be x since it meets cycle at 10 and reaches destinantion at 12.30
distance from meeting point to destination is 2.5x

since cycle also moves it moves for 4 hourse (from 10-2)
let its speed be y
so cycle distance covered is 4y

when bus returns from destinaiton at 1.30 it just travels for .5hr (so .5x covered)

so
4y+.5x=2.5x
total dis from meeting meeting point (1st meeting) to destination is 5y
cycle has covered 4y in 4hrs so it will take i hour for the remaining y

Totally bus takes 2.30hrs to reach the Amristar.
So 1/5 of i.e 30 mins reach the one place where it met auto.
That means 4/5 of this travel by bus is 2hrs and auto is 4hrs

so2:4::1/2:x
2/4=1/2x
4x=4
x=1

so auto will reach Amirstar at 1hr.
