Transfer data from xls and ms-access to oracle

How we can transfer data from ms-excel, ms-access to oracle through informatica ? whether it is possible?

Ya this is possible. For higher versions of oracle 10g onwards


this can be done in 2 ways
1) without using informatica
  --MS excel - This can be directly imported into oracle

  --MS access - Using Migration workbench - another free tool provided by oracle.

2) using informatica -

  --using source as excel file and target as oracle table.

Both are very much possible

w/ INFA: Write a mapping with src as Excel (or Access) and tgt as Oracle. Note: if your Informatica server is on UNIX, you need to save the XLS as csv and use that.

w/o INFA: Using a tool like TOAD can read data from XLS or MS-Access (Data Import Wizard in TOAD)
