Form not found

Hi all

I have a record a script for login authentication and while running the scenario I am getting an error message like Requested form not found

Can anyone say this error has occurred

Hi Rajeshexp,
Check whether any of the data requires parameterization. Mostly the culprit could be the session id generated.
Are you getting this error on the login screen or after submitting the login.

There might be several reasons for this "Form not found" error.

1. Login Form name might have been changed on the application after you recored the script
2. As said above there might be issue with dynamic data

This error normally occurs in web_submit_form function. web_submit_form is recorded only when VuGen is in HTML–based recording mode.

So, try to record the script with HTTP recording mode and have a retry. see VuGen's Recording Options for more details.
